Fergalicious!  

Heres my biggest issue with you Uhgii. You dont look at all the positives of songs like this. The next time Furgofluckfluck or what ever it is, is in a spelling bee, that small child will get it right. Look at the word bananas. I would have spelt that wrong if it werent for Gwens great contribution to american society. Some people try to find cures for cancer, some people do community service, and some people write songs that help chirldren spell words.

But since were talking about helping society i figured id share a story with the world. I was manning the local grocery stores cash register when a lady brought up a whole bunch of organic fruits and crap like that. Then she pulls out her food stamp card. Now dont get me wrong im all about NYS helping out the poor to buy food, however, i cannot afford to buy that and i am above the poverty line! "Oh but its not that much more expensive!" hell yeah it is! organic mac and cheese is over double the price of regular mac and cheese, and dont even get me started on the bananas (thanks for the spelling help Gwen). If you want to eat healthy thats fine, but if youve reached the point where your starving im sure youd eat the asshole out of a skunk... or just regular bananas. But what do i know? ive never been hungry in my life, i just a college student who went through army basic training. Never hungry at eather of thoes institutions.

Damn it! now i need some cheering up. Maby ill put that furgoliction song on so ill realize that at least i have more talent than some one. Wait... does guitare hero count as talent?

i definitely do not think fergalicious became popular based on lyrics, i think it has to do with the beat, it plays in clubs, and it's all about a self-obsessed woman (girls are all about themselves). for me it was the way the music video was made.
i also don't think this country has collectively thought there was "good music" being played since the beatles (and even then a few people didn't like them)

lol dann i completely agree with you. i absolutely despise that song, but all of my girl friends are in love with it and i dont think ill ever understand why.

i could not agree with this blog more. i can't even listen to the radio unless its on a country station (and i know that lots of people dont like country either, but that is beside the point). what ever happened to good music and good bands like, oh i dont know, abbadon? have you ever heard of them? they were kick ass, but no society blows so we get fergacraplicious. <3 you uhgii
